3-2. Connecting to a Wi-Fi ® network
Establishing a connection to Wi-Fi ® Hotspot * 1
The Wi-Fi ® Hotspot function can be used to set the Wi-Fi ® access point and connect to a Wi-Fi ® device.
Use of this function requires a Wi-Fi ® Connect subscription that is provided by Wi-Fi service provider.

INFORMATION
● This function cannot be used while the Wi-Fi ® function is on.
● A total of 10 devices( 5 using 2.4 GHz and 5 using 5.0 GHz) can be connected. Recommend connecting up to 5 devices at a time for optimum performance. If connected to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto over wireless, the limit will be 5 devices using 2.4GHz.
1 Turn on the Wi-Fi ® function of the Wi-Fi ® device.
2 Touch [ ] from the main menu. 3 Touch [ Wi-Fi ] from the sub menu.
4 Touch [ Hotspot ] from the sub menu.
5 Turn on [ Hotspot ] in the main area.
A message may be displayed depending on the multimedia system settings. Perform the operation according to the screen guidance.
6 Connect to Wi-Fi ® Hotspot of the multimedia system from the Wi-Fi ® device.
● Refer to the Wi-Fi ® device’ s instruction manual on how to connect using the Wi-Fi ® device.
● The network name will be displayed under the Hotspot in the main area.
● The network password will be displayed in the main area. If the password is long, some of the characters may be omitted from the display. Touch the screen to check on the password edit screen.
