Using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
● Register a device compatible with Android Auto to the vehicle system then connect it wirelessly.
● Connect a device compatible with Android Auto to a USB port.
● Use an undamaged genuine USB cable when connecting to a USB port to use Android Auto.
● To use this function, check to make sure that your Android Auto device is set to accept connection with a new vehicle.
● Depending on the model, the talkback volume of the voice recognition function of Android Auto may differ from the volume setting of other functions. Set the volume to a level that is easy to hear.
Using Android Auto with an unregistered smartphone
Connecting an Android Auto device via USB

Connect a device.( connect to the Type-C terminal)( →P. 30). |

Check that a message asking if the use of Android Auto is desired is displayed, |
and then touch“ Yes”. |
● Android Auto will activate.
● If“ No” is selected, Android Auto will not start. The connected device will be recognized as a Bluetooth device.( →P. 104)
