Voice assistance system operation
Starting with the wake up word
1. Say“ Hi SUBARU”.
● When started with the wake up word, voice assistance from the side the command was spoken is enabled.
● The wake up word can be enabled / disabled in the settings.( →P. 40)
● The wake up word and a voice command can be spoken in succession.

Microphone
● It is unnecessary to speak directly into the microphone when giving a command.
● This function or part of this function may not be available in some languages and countries.
● Wait for the confirmation beep before speaking a command.
● Voice commands may not be recognized if:
● Spoken too quickly.
● Spoken at a low or high volume.
● Driving with a window open.
● Passengers are talking while voice commands are spoken.
● The air conditioning speed is set high.
● When air from the ventilator blows directly toward the microphone.
● In the following conditions, the system may not recognize the command properly and using voice commands may not be possible:
● The command is incorrect or unclear. Note that certain words, accents or speech patterns may be difficult for the system to recognize.
● There is excessive background noise, such as wind noise.
