Voice assistance system operation
Press the switch to start the voice assistance system.( →P. 31) Press and hold:
● When Apple CarPlay / Android Auto is being used, the voice recognition function of the Apple CarPlay / Android Auto will start.
● When the Apple CarPlay device is connected via Bluetooth, Siri will start.
● When the Bluetooth phone / device is not registered, or when the Bluetooth connection is disabled, the voice recognition system cannot be started. If the registration screen is displayed when the switch is pressed and held, proceed to registration if desired. If the Bluetooth phone / device is already registered, simply connect it.( →P. 55, 57)
Press the switch to adjust the volume. Press and hold the switch to adjust the volume continuously.

Press the switch to turn the audio volume mute on / off.

The voice assistance system enables the navigation, audio, hands-free systems, etc. to be operated using voice commands.
Service subscription allows connection to the server for search using the most up-todate map information and versatile voice assistance that responds to various expressions spoken in a command.
Without subscription, the system operates the normal voice assistance function. The voice assistance system that uses the server is included in the subscription to the services using the cloud navigation server.( →P. 118) Refer to the command list for samples of voice commands.( →P. 34) 31
