Map scrolling operation
The map screen can be moved by touching, dragging or flicking it.
After moving the map,“ Re-center” may be displayed. Touch“ Re-center” to return the map to the current position.
Current position display

While driving, the current position mark is fixed on the screen and the map moves.
● The current position is automatically set as the vehicle receives signals from the GPS( Global Positioning System). If the current position is not correct, it is automatically corrected after the vehicle receives signals from the GPS.
● If the battery has been disconnected or when the vehicle is new, the current position may not be correct. As soon as the system receives signals from the GPS, the correct current position will be displayed.

scale 1. Select any point on the map. 2. Touch“” or“” to change the scale of the map screen.

During route guidance, the map is zoomed in automatically when approaching intersections or turning points.

● The scale of the map screen can also be changed with the double touch or pinch operation.( →P. 24)
● If the map scale has been changed after moving the map, the map scale will return to previous scale when the map is returned to the current position.
● If the map scale is adjusted manually during route guidance, the map may not be zoomed in automatically. To reenable the automatic zoom function, touch“ Re-center” or change the orientation of the map screen.( →P. 122) 121
