NOTE
• To release the brake control after the vehicle has come to a stop through
Pre-Collision Braking System, perform the following.
- Depress the brake pedal.
- Depress the accelerator pedal (except when the select lever is in the N
position).
- Shift the select lever into the P position
• After stopping with secondary braking, in the following cases, brake control
will be released and the electronic parking brake will be applied.
(For details about how to release the electronic parking brake, refer to the
Owner’s Manual for your vehicle.)
- When approximately 2 minutes have elapsed since stopping and the
brake pedal is not depressed
- When any door (except the rear gate/trunk) is opened
- When EyeSight is temporarily stopped
