Adaptive Cruise Control (3) Changing the set vehicle target speed The following two methods can be used to increase the set vehicle target speed. Using the RES/SET switch While driving with Adaptive Cruise Control on, if the RES/SET switch is pushed to the RES/+ side briefly, the set vehicle target speed will increase in increments of 5 MPH (5 km/h). If the RES/SET switch is pushed to RES/+ for more than 1 second continuously, the set vehicle target speed will increase in increments of 1 MPH (1 km/h) over the time the switch is pressed. The set vehicle target speed is shown on the multi information display. Using this method, you can ‘fine tune’ the vehicle’s set target speed. 30 35 S00561 * Models for Canada: Metric units are used.
