Always looking for ways to help make the Outback even safer, we also offer the available Reverse Automatic Braking System. 2 It can detect objects directly behind your vehicle when backing up at a low speed and can help bring the Outback to a stop if an object is detected. The Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection (SRVD) system featuring Rear Cross-Traffic Alert 3 is there to warn you of traffic approaching from the side when you’re backing up. There’s also Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist 3 to help warn you when it senses a vehicle in your blind spot and the standard Rearview Camera, giving you better vision when backing up. To help you see better around corners, the new LED Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH) point the way as you turn the wheel. Oversteer Ideal cornering Understeer Braking System The standard 4-wheel disc brakes and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) supply a strong, reassuring brake feel.
