Safety SOS Emergency Assistance (SOS) In the event of an emergency other than the Advanced Automatic Collision Notification*, your SUBARU STARLINK ® Connected Services representative will be ready to assist you. Press the red SOS button on the overhead console to promptly connect to your representative from anywhere in the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, the District of Columbia and Canada. • Press the red SOS button • A SUBARU STARLINK ® Connected Services representative will attempt to establish communication with you to ask about the nature of the emergency and then dispatch the appropriate emergency assistance • If you are unable to answer, the representative will let you know that emergency assistance has been notified and is on its way for • To cancel the SOS call, press and hold the red SOS button approximately 2 seconds or press the "End Call" button on the head unit display NOTE The SOS Emergency Assistance feature requires adequate cellular coverage and signal strength. This feature is only available in the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, the District of Columbia and Canada. NOTE At any time after initiating a voice call you can adjust the volume of the call by using the volume knob on your vehicle’s head unit. * In order to utilize these services, you must be an active SUBARU STARLINK ® Connected Services subscriber. 18
