Subaru Guardian Alerts
Youcanalwaysmonitorthesafetyofyourlovedonesandyourvehiclewith Subaru Guardian Alerts. Choose from Boundary Alert, Speed Alert and Curfew Alert to reinforce responsible and safe driving habits while your loved ones are behind the wheel.
Boundary Alert
Set geographic boundaries and be notified by email, text or push notification when your vehicle has incorrectly entered or exited any saved designated area.
Creating a Boundary Alert:
• LogontotheMySubarumobileapporMySubaru. ca
• Select“ Set Driver Alerts”
• Select“ Boundary Alerts”
• Then choose“ Create a New Boundary Alert”
• Chooseacenterpointlocationonthemapandsetapinorenteranaddress
• Select“ Boundary Type”( Exits Area or Enters Area)
• SelectashapetosettheBoundary( circleorsquare)
• ReshapetheBoundaryshapeifnecessarybyselectinganypointonthe shape
• Click“ Save” when you have completed your selections
• SetanamefortheBoundaryAlert
• Select“ TimeUntilAlert”( 30,60,90or120seconds)
• Click“ Continue” when complete Activating a Boundary:
• ChooseasavedBoundaryAlertandselectit. Swiperightandchoose“ Send toVehicle”.( OnlyonesavedBoundaryAlertcanbeactiveatatime)
• Enter your MySubaru PIN( if you haven’ t previously stored it)
• TheselectedBoundaryAlertwillbesenttoyourvehicle.
• Yourvehiclewillthennotifyyouifitentersorexitsthedesignatedarea
Edit a Boundary Alert:
• Choose a saved Boundary Alert and swipe right, then choose“ Edit Alert”
• Changeanyofthesettingsasdesired
• Click“ Next” when you have completed your selections
• EdittheBoundaryAlertnameand“ TimeUntilAlert” ifdesiredandselect“ Save & Send”
• Enter your MySubaru PIN( if you haven’ t previously stored it)
