SRS Airbag( Supplemental Restraint System Airbag)
cover exclusively designed for use with the SRS airbag. Even when using a genuine SUBARU seat cover, the SRS side airbag or the SRS seat cushion airbag may not function normally if the seat cover is not installed correctly.
& General Precautions Regarding SRS Airbag System and Children s01ah14 in a child restraint system or in a seatbelt, whichever is appropriate for the child’ s age, height and weight. The SRS airbag deploys with considerable speed and force and can injure or even kill children, especially if they are not restrained or improperly restrained. Because children are lighter and weaker than adults, their risk of being injured from deployment is greater. According to accident statistics, children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seating positions than in the front seating positions. For instructions and precautions concerning child restraint systems, refer to“ Child Restraint Systems” FP54.

NEVER INSTALL A REARWARD FA- CING CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM ON THE FRONT PASSENGER’ S SEAT, AND NEVER INSTALL A FOR- WARD FACING CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM ON THE FRONT PASSEN- GER’ S SEAT IF THE FRONT PAS- SENGER’ S FRONTAL AIRBAG ON INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATES. DOING SO RISKS SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE CHILD BY PLA- CING THE CHILD’ S HEAD TOO CLOSE TO THE SRS AIRBAG.
