Lane Centering Function
( 3) Once the vehicle has stopped, all doors( including the rear gate) are automatically unlocked, and the vehicle remains stopped. Lane centering control is canceled, and the electronic parking brake is applied. An alert sound is played and a warning screen is displayed. The hazard warning flashers are used to alert trailing and surrounding vehicles of the emergency situation. At the same time, Emergency Stop Assist makes an emergency call.( if equipped)
This stage operates as follows.
• Stay stopped
• Hazard warning flashers
• Electronic parking brake
• All doors unlocked( including the rear gate)
• Emergency call( if equipped)

• Operate the steering wheel.
• Operate the steering wheel forcefully.*
• Press one of the following switches:
( CRUISE) switch,( Lane Centering) switch

1 short beep and 1 long beep( repeated)
*: If the driver’ s seatbelt is unfastened, or the driver is looking away from the road( models with Driver Monitoring System).
