Lane Centering Function
• Driver Monitoring System( if equipped) determines that the driver is incapacitated.- If Driver Monitoring System( if equipped) determines that the driver is incapacitated, an alert sounds and an interruption screen is displayed on the combination meter display.
- If the system is still unable to detect steering operation while the driver’ s eyes are on the road, the following warning screen is displayed, and Emergency Stop Assist activates.

NOTE
• In the following cases, Emergency Stop Assist may activate because the system cannot detect steering wheel operation by the driver.- The driver is driving with hands placed lightly on the steering wheel.- Driver steering operation is insufficient.
• For models with Driver Monitoring System, Emergency Stop Assist may activate because Driver Monitoring System cannot detect driver’ s state, has a malfunction or has stopped temporarily. For details about Driver Monitoring System, refer to the vehicle Owner’ s Manual.
