How to use Lane Centering Function
Press the( Lane Centering) switch when Adaptive Cruise Control is on.
� Page 77 Lane Centering Function is turned on, and /( Lane Centering indicator)( white) and the lane indicator( gray) are displayed on the combination meter display.

Lane Centering Function starts operating when all of the following conditions are met.
• Adaptive Cruise Control is activated.
• Pre-Collision Braking System is on.
• The vehicle speed is between 0 mph( 0 km / h) and approximately 90 mph( 145 km / h).
• The system is detecting the lane markings or the lead vehicle.
• The driver is operating the steering wheel.
• On a straight road or gentle curve
• On a road that has a lane width that is between approximately 10 ft( 3 m) and 15 ft( 4.5 m)
• Driving near the center of a lane
• Driver Monitoring System operation indicator light( green) or Driver Monitoring System OFF indicator light illuminates.( models with Driver Monitoring System)
• The driver’ s eyes are on the road.( models with Driver Monitoring System)
