Conventional Cruise Control ● Using the brake pedal Depress the brake pedal to decrease the vehicle speed. (This cancels Conventional Cruise Control.) When the desired speed is reached, press the SET/- switch. The vehicle speed is set at the speed when the switch is pressed, and the new set vehicle speed will be displayed on the meter display. ■ Accelerating temporarily Depress the accelerator pedal to accelerate temporarily. When the accelerator pedal is released, the vehicle returns to the set vehicle speed. NOTE For turbo models, the shift position indicator on the meter display will change from the D position to the current gear position when the accelerator pedal is depressed. ■ Decelerating temporarily Depress the brake pedal to decelerate temporarily. (This cancels Conventional Cruise Control). The set vehicle speed on the meter display remains to be displayed and will switch to the standby mode (the SET indicator disappears). To restore the set vehicle speed, press the RES/+ switch. MPH SET display turns off miles S00911 ■ Canceling Conventional Cruise Control ● Cancellation by driver operation Press the CANCEL switch.
