Adaptive Cruise Control NOTE When the Adaptive Cruise Control is turned to OFF, the screen of the multi function display will switch to the triple meter screen. * For details, refer to the Owner’s Manual for your vehicle. F MPG miles miles S00896 ●Automatic cancellation by the system When the vehicle stops in accordance with the stopping of the vehicle in front, three short beeps and a single long beep will sound and the Adaptive Cruise Control is automatically cancelled. CAUTION The automatic braking function is released gradually approximately 2 seconds after stopping and the vehicle starts creeping forward. Be sure to depress the brake pedal and stop the vehicle completely. In the following cases, a buzzer will sound a single long beep and Adaptive Cruise Control is automatically canceled. Also, a pop-up screen will be displayed on the multi function display. * Refer to page 81. The lead vehicle that your vehicle has been tracking within a distance of approximately 100 ft (30 m) and at a speed differential of approximately 20 MPH (30 km/h) or less is no longer detected.
