Ready for long items, or long weekends Bigger ideas for smaller items The Forester is well prepared to keep up with your life, from planned vacations to spontaneous shopping. The cargo area can accommodate four large suitcases while an array of hooks helps secure smaller items. For longer items, the rear seats fold flat with an available one-touch folding rear seat button on either side. Ingeniously designed, useful storage abounds throughout the cabin, including bottle holders in the doors, an overhead console, and a multi-function centre console with an adjustable padded armrest.1 An especially thoughtful treat for rear-seat passengers is a retractable centre armrest with cup holders.2 Child Step Side Sill Power Rear Gate 3 The backseat step was designed to ease entry and exiting for small children. The wider, non-slip surface has been well placed so children’s knees land on softer floor mats instead of harder plastic. The side sills have been designed to be as low as possible, making it easy to get in and out. The side sills also help prevent snow and dirt from collecting inside the door frame, helping to keep your clothes and the interior looking clean. The power rear gate will take some of the work out of loading so you can do more living. One touch of the button on the instrument panel, the rear gate or key fob, and it opens automatically. 1 Not available on Forester 2.5i and 2.5i Touring models equipped with manual transmissions.  2 Not available on Forester 2.5i.  3 2.5i Touring, 2.5i Limited, 2.0XT Touring and 2.0XT Limited models only. 13
