Lock release straps( models with windowside belt guides)
NOTE
For models with window-side belt guides:
When operating the lock release straps, pull them upward. If you pull the lock release straps forward or diagonally, there will be some resistance that makes the straps feel heavy or slow to respond, and smooth operation will not be possible.

Lock release knobs( models without window-side belt guides)
3. For models with window-side belt guides, unlock the seatback by pulling the straps upwards then fold the seatback down. For models without window-side belt guides, unlock the seatback by pulling the lock release knob then fold the seatback down.

WARNING
. When returning the seatback to its original position, observe the following precaution.
Failure to observe the precaution may damage the seatbelt, impairing its effectiveness, and possibly result in a serious injury.
. When returning the seatback to its original position, pull the seatbelt out towards the vehicle exterior so that it will not be caught between the seatback and the trim.
