Pre-Collision Braking System OFF switch ( Models with EyeSight system )
Press and hold this switch for approximately 2 seconds or longer to turn off Pre-Collision Braking System ( including Pre-Collision Braking Assist ). When Pre-Collision Braking System is turned off , the Pre-Collision Throttle Management Control function is also turned off .
Pre-Collision Braking System
The Pre-Collision Braking System activates when the system determines that there is a high risk of collision with an obstacle in front . When there is the risk of a rear-end collision with an obstacle in front , the Pre-Collision Braking system helps to prevent or minimize a collision by warning the driver .
