NOTE
x Neither first braking nor secondary braking will operate in the following
cases.
- When the vehicle speed is approximately 1 MPH (1 km/h) or less (When
the select lever is in the N position and your vehicle speed is
approximately 2 MPH (4 km/h) or less) or 100 MPH (160 km/h) or more
- When Vehicle Dynamics Control is active
x If the system detects the brake lights of the vehicle in front, your vehicle
will start decelerating earlier than if it does not.
- There are some cases where the first braking is applied for a longer
period of time. One of the reasons for this is due to a large speed
difference with an obstacle in front. In those cases, stronger or weaker
braking control may be activated.
