116 Alarm System ▼ Battery drainage reduction function for various conditions
This function will enter standby mode when the ignition switch is turned to the“ OFF” position.
If the following actions are not performed within 20 minutes, while the function is in standby mode, any room lights that are on will automatically turn off.
Turning off lights
– Map light – Door step light – Trunk light – Vanity mirror light
Actions
– Turn the ignition switch to the“ ACC” or“ ON” position.
– Open or close the doors, including the trunk lid.
– Push the unlock button on the access key fob or transmitter.
– Hold the front door handle and unlock it while holding the access key fob.
– Come close to the vehicle that the front door was locked while holding the access key fob( if OFF delay timer setting for period of time is not off).
– Push the panic button on the access key fob or transmitter.
Perform the action in the above table to illuminate the lights again when the battery drainage reduction function is active.
NOTE
� The battery drainage reduction function cannot be turned off. � To protect the battery from battery drainage, make sure that all doors, including the trunk, are completely closed when leaving the vehicle.
