116 Alarm System ▼ Battery drainage reduction function for various conditions
This function will enter standby mode when the ignition switch is turned to the “ OFF ” position .
If the following actions are not performed within 20 minutes , while the function is in standby mode , any room lights that are on will automatically turn off .
Turning off lights
– Map light – Door step light – Trunk light – Vanity mirror light
Actions
– Turn the ignition switch to the “ ACC ” or “ ON ” position .
– Open or close the doors , including the trunk lid .
– Push the unlock button on the access key fob or transmitter .
– Hold the front door handle and unlock it while holding the access key fob .
– Come close to the vehicle that the front door was locked while holding the access key fob ( if OFF delay timer setting for period of time is not off ).
– Push the panic button on the access key fob or transmitter .
Perform the action in the above table to illuminate the lights again when the battery drainage reduction function is active .
NOTE
� The battery drainage reduction function cannot be turned off . � To protect the battery from battery drainage , make sure that all doors , including the trunk , are completely closed when leaving the vehicle .
