Operate Select lever / Shift lever
Automatic transmission ( if equipped ) P = Parking / Starting the engine R = Reversing N = Neutral D = Drive :
For normal driving / Temporary manual mode driving M = Manual mode
While the push-button ignition switch is in ON position , move the select lever with the brake pedal depressed .
Manual mode driving : To use the manual mode , move the lever from D position into the M .
▼ Selecting gears in manual mode Shift the select lever to the M position to change to manual mode . When the upshift / downshift indicators are illuminated , the vehicle can be driven in a selected gear by shifting the select lever toward - or + or operating the - or + shift paddle .
Manual transmission ( if equipped )

1 . Depress the clutch pedal . 2 . Hold up the slider , move the lever to the R position , then release the slider .
