Canceling the trunk lid opener feature
To protect luggage stored in the trunk lid against theft, do the following:
Turn the main switch in the trunk
lid off to disable the trunk lid
opener.
On (The trunk lid can be
opened using the trunk lid
opener.)
Off (The trunk lid cannot be
opened using the trunk lid
opener.)
Vehicles without a keyless access
with push button start system:
The trunk lid can only be opened
with the master key.
Vehicles with a keyless access
with push button start system:
The trunk lid can only be opened
with the mechanical key.
