If the fuel filler lid cannot be opened due to malfunction or a dead battery , it can be opened from the cargo area .
1 . Remove the access cover at the rightside of the cargo area trim using a flathead screwdriver .
1 Clip 2 . Remove the orange knob from the clip .
3 . Pull the orange knob , then the fuel filler lid will be unlocked .
4 . Push the rear side of the fuel filler lid .
