Remote keyless entry system
Models with “ keyless access with push-button start system ”:
If desired , you can turn the audible signal off by operating the center information display . For details , refer to “ Car settings ” FP215 . Furthermore , the volume setting of the audible signal can also be changed by a SUBARU dealer . Consult your SUBARU dealer for details .
Models without “ keyless access with push-button start system ”:
Perform the following steps to deactivate the audible signal . Take the same steps to restore the function .

Close all doors and the rear gate .
Press and hold “

the power locking switch .

Insert the key into the ignition switch and pull it out at least 6 times .
Open and close the driver ’ s door .

The hazard warning flashers flash 3 times to indicate completion of the setting .
Your SUBARU dealer can perform the above procedure for you .

If you lose a transmitter or want to purchase additional transmitters ( up to four can be programmed ), your transmitters should be reprogrammed for security reasons . For details , contact your SUBARU dealer and have the transmitters programmed into the remote keyless entry system .
