Little things can be frustrating in the trailer, but we’ ve really learned how to work around them.
We have to be very mindful of the hot water. There are times when I really just want to take a long bath and listen to the hum of a dishwasher, but I don’ t have a bathtub or a dishwasher.
We also have to be very cognizant of the things that we bring into the trailer.
There’ s only 188 square feet, so if we bring one thing in, something else needs to come out.
But overall, I’ m incredibly proud of the work we’ ve done. In terms of the future, I don’ t know what lies ahead of us. We’ re currently outfitting our van for camping and I’ m really excited about that.
I’ d love to renovate other vans, RVs or small homes for other people who want to live a similar lifestyle.
I’ m also currently writing an e-book about our experience that will be published soon.
The small lifestyle has given us so much freedom and I am so incredibly grateful.
Piccole cose possono diventare frustranti nella roulotte, ma abbiamo veramente imparato a girarci intorno.
Dobbiamo stare attenti all’ acqua calda. Ci sono momenti in cui veramente vorrei farmi un lungo bagno ed ascoltare il ronzio di una lavastoviglie, ma non abbiamo una vasca o una lavastoviglie.
Dobbiamo anche essere consapevoli di ogni cosa che portiamo nella roulotte. Ci sono solo 188 piedi quadrati, quindi se qualcosa di nuovo entra, qualcosa d’ altro deve uscire.
Ma complessivamente sono incredibilmente orgogliosa del lavoro che abbiamo fatto. Nel futuro non so cosa sta davanti a noi. Al momento stiamo sistemando il nostro van per fare campeggio e sono molto eccitata di questo. Mi piace rinnovare altri van, veicoli a rimorchio o piccole case per altre persone che vogliono vivere con uno stile simile al nostro.
Sto anche scrivendo un e-book a proposito della nostra esperienza e presto verrà pubblicato.
Lo stile di vita in piccolo ci ha dato tanta libertà e sono veramente grata di questo.
