When you get in touch , we ’ ll ask you about your previous qualifications and experience and let you know if you can use this as credit towards your degree so you can complete it quicker . We may ask you to attend an informal interview , which can be in person , by phone or online .
Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL ) via portfolio
If you ’ re using previous experience as credit towards your degree , you ’ ll need to submit a Recognition of Prior Learning portfolio at least ten weeks before the start of the course . This documents all your experiences in work that could count towards credits and can take up to six months to create . We recommend you speak to us to get more details on creating this portfolio .

Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL ) via previous qualifications
If you ’ re using previous qualifications as credit towards your degree , we recommend you contact us and discuss this before you enrol . You can upload your qualifications as you complete your online application and we ’ ll assess them to confirm whether we can allocate credits to you .
There are no standardised entry requirements , and you could gain credits for your learning and experience to date , reducing the cost and time to complete .

What you need before you start
Courses start in January or September . You should email us at least four weeks before your start date with details of the course you ’ re interested in and your previous qualifications and experience , so we can advise you on your next steps . Once you ’ ve contacted us and confirmed your course choices , you need to :
• click on the ‘ apply now ’ link on your chosen course page and complete the online application form
• upload evidence of your qualifications and any other evidence requested
