The Sustainable Development Goals comprise 17 goals and 169 sub-goals for a more sustainable world . They were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 and are supposed to be achieved by 2030 .
United Nations Global Compact ( UNGC ) is the world ’ s largest CSR initiative , founded in 2000 . The UNGC describes ten principles in the areas of human rights , working conditions , environment and anti-corruption , which every participating organisation must sign . More than 14,000 companies of various sizes have signed the UNGC ( as of October 2021 ).
