Here at Monash University Malaysia we encourage you to spend a semester at Monash University in Australia or at one of our partner universities in America , the United Kingdom , Europe , Asia or New Zealand . You will have a wonderful global experience , add value to your CV , and gain credit towards your Monash degree .
I have direct experience of the benefits this experience can bring . During my career I have worked with many students who have taken up the opportunity for study abroad . In fact , in 2016 my own daughter spent a year studying in Sweden . I can guarantee that an international study experience will give you new skills , new horizons and new aspirations . At times you will be moving out of your comfort zone and dealing with quite different perspectives . But don ’ t let that discourage you , because those more challenging times are exactly when the best cross-cultural learning occurs .
As a sign of our commitment to students ’ global engagement , we are offering the Monash Abroad Travel Scholarship of RM 8,000 to students participating in international exchange to our partner universities . As an exchange student , you will pay your regular fee to Monash University Malaysia ; no additional fees are paid to the host university .
