The election for the Student Association Student
President and Student Vice President positions
took place at the end of March.
The roles, both full-time paid positions, were open
to any Ayrshire College student aged 16 or above.
We were looking for enthusiastic students to put
themselves forward, and were delighted with the
number of students who stepped forward.
Lainey McKinlay was elected as Student President
and Lora Miller as Student Vice President of the
Student Association.
The successful candidates will be in their positions
for one year from July, with the opportunity to
stand for a second year in the 2018 elections.
