Every one of us owns a mobile phone . We can always be in contact with everyone , everywhere and for free . It is very useful but is there any drawback of always being in touch ?

There are several apps like these , for example

Parents should be someone like a guide who can show the way .

Mobile phones are making our lives easier . Paradoxically they can bring disputes into our families . Some parents are exaggeratedly caring . They use safety apps because they want to protect their children whatever it takes . Thank to these apps , parents can immediately find their children . They can track them ; they can also hear voices through their microphones . Does it make them feel safe ? Undoubtedly , it can foresee some unpredictable situations . But are we still talking about safety or is it spying ? What impacts does it have on children ?
Psychologist Dr . Pamela B . Rutledge describes it in an article : “ The Impact of Location-Tracking Apps on Relationships 1 ” published on Psychology Today . There are several apps like these , for example Life365 . COO of Life365 said that most of the teenagers are OK with sharing their locations . It relates to a trustfulness . I think if there is a mutual agreement between parents and teenager it is clear , and no one would have a problem with it . What about younger children who cannot decide by themselves ? Where the protection becomes spying ? Dr . Pamela B . Rutledge adds : “ Your role as a parent is to provide age-appropriate guidance , structure , and support . It ’ s not to hover and spy .“ It is an extremity and every extremity does not help . It can have a negative impact . What if parents do not pay attention to their children ? Are those children happier ?

They do not také care about their children at all ; they let them do whatever they want to etc . So even though internet can be very useful , it can be very dangerous , and children should know about it . Laxness of the parents can have unforeseen consequences and if they are not relieved soon , it can be problematic . Other reason why it is not good to be in a permanent contact with parents is that children lose their independence . Children must learn how to solve the problems , how to behave in emergency situations , overcome challenges etc . Parents should be someone like a guide who can show the way but how they make it , it should be up to them . They should feel that their parents are always close to them . They should know that in the future , they would have to rely on themselves because nobody would not make their own decisions . Except them alone .
In conclusion , every extreme case is false . It is all about a balanced approach . The parents should find the right way how to protect their children instead of spying them or instead of being too lax . The second most important thing is a trustfulness . If children trust their parents and vice versa , they can better communicate together and thus finding some balance will be much easier . l
