It was the sixth of May and my phone just started ringing . I immediately jumped out of bed , due to that devilish noise . It took me one minute to calm myself and then I checked the time on the clock . 8 am . It was only 8 am , why would someone even call met this early ?! I picked up the phone , ready to yell at that annoying human . „ WHO IS THIS !?“, I shouted insanely to the phone . It was my friend Rose . „ Why weren ’ t you at the math class ? Our teacher is getting mad at you .“ God damn ! I am constantly forgetting about my online classes . „ Sorry Rose , I ´ ve just forgot to set up my alarm clock .“ „ Again ?“ „… again .“ Rose always makes up excuses for me . Last time , she said I had to help my grandpa with shopping groceries , even though my grandpa lives like 200 kilometers away from me .
After our call , which turned out to be 30 minutes long , caused by Rose ´ s need to tell me about her plans for the next two months , I ’ ve decided to get some breakfast . My parents were at work , so I made pancakes myself . The only company I had was my cat , silently begging for a treat ; I couldn ‘ t resist and poured her some leftover milk . Along with my dogs , she has been the closest „ thing “ to friends I ‘ ve had for the last three months .
Getting myself to do some work for school is the hardest part of the day . I usually procrastinate by watching Netflix , reading , annoying my cat , or just lying on the bed . That ’ s why I spend sleepless nights , doing my homework , last day before the deadline .
And even though lying on the bed sounded amazing , I just felt the need to make it up to my maths teacher and do some work . How long will I keep it up ?•

Johnny and Mark were getting bored at home . It was barely a week into the selfquarantine they have to endure because of a pandemic . They couldn ’ t go out as frequently as they used to before this whole situation ocurred . The only time they were allowed to go out was for grocery shopping ; although Mark being Mark , he bought nearly the entire shop , therefore , they would not probably need to go for another shopping until the Christmas .
But they were running out of activities to entertain themselves . The first days were fine , everything was going smoothly . No panicking , just pure fun . They played Animal Crossing , they were playing tag , you ’ re it in their small flat , they tried to cook eadible meals , they joked around , they watched films that they had always wanted to watch . Unfortunately , they slowly ran out of ideas of what to do …
Now , they were stuck in the living room , looking at the ceiling and browsing Twitter on their phones . They weren ’ t talking to each other , not knowing what to say to the other . There was a terrible silence hanging between them . Was it awkward ? Maybe .
‘ Dude ,’ Johnny let out , sitting up . ‘ Is it only me , or is it so fluffing , boring ?’
Mark laughed and put down his phone . He thought about the past week , trying to think of something but only nonsense ideas were coming up his mind . ‘ It ´ s been only a week since it started ? Is it going to be like that for the rest of quarantine ?’
Johnny shrugged . ‘ Don ’ t know but just lying around the whole time won ’ t help me .’ Johnny wanted to go to the gym but he couldn ’ t .
‘ Do you remember how we wanted to go climbing and set up a tent in the mountains ?’ asked Mark suddenly , his brain was likely to start to work . Johnny nodded . ‘ Why don ’ t we set up the tent here ?’
‘ Mark ! You ’ re a genius !’ Johnny exclaimed and jumped high , nearly banging with his head a chandelier .
And so they started putting up the tent . By the time they ’ ve finished , the whole living room was cramped but the boys were satisfied . They brought all the snacks Mark had bought when he had been panic-shopping and they also opened two bottles of wine . They couldn ’ t remember much from camping as they drank a bit too much . ( However , Mark had a memory of clinging to Johnny , singing I ’ m yours by Jason Mraz and giggling like a teenage girl .) Ö
