As you certainly noticed, the most important thing (at least for me) is to not get
stressed, to enjoy the life as it is, to try and have some fun. I know that it could be a bit
harder for some people, because not everyone has the ability to make fun of these
situations, but we all need to find something that gives us hope and wait for the times
to get better. •

Quarantine
makes me
happier with
things I used
to have
before this
situation
happened.
It happened on Tuesday – 21 st of April. In the morning I did some housework and after
preparing lunch I spent some time with an online school lesson.
In the afternoon, we are used to going for a walk. I didn´t want to go with my family
this Tuesday because I had too much homework. But my mum told me anxiously: “You
should go. Fresh air is good for your health!”
It was about 2 pm when we arrived to the forest. The nature and the sound of the
singing birds were unforgettable. I realized how much I liked the springtime. We were
enjoying the sunny weather when something bit me. It didn´t hurt that much, so I didn´t
care about it until we came back to the car. In the car I touched a small bulge under my
eye, where the insect bit me about an hour ago. I didn´t want to make my mum worried,
so I didn´t tell her about it.
I was exhausted because we had been walking for about two hours, so I fell asleep.
I was sleeping during the way until my sisters woke me up. I wanted to get out of
the car, but I felt weird. Then I realized it. I couldn´t open my eye. I was scared
and confused. My sisters helped me to find mum and when she saw me, she said
immediately: “We need to go to the hospital.”
In the hospital the nurses took my temperature because of the corona time. When
we arrived to the doctor, she made an examination of my eye. Then she gave me
a prescription for a cream and told us: “It is an allergic reaction. It will be OK in a few
days.”
I believed that everything would be fine again!•

Because of coronavirus pandemic lot of people are “locked“ in their houses. They can’t
meet with other people and their friends. Only one member of family is allowed to go to
buy food and necessary things in a shop. The only place, where you can go, is a forest
or a park, but just in case you have a face mask on your mouth and nose.
Many institutions, factories and centres are closed, including schools. Students have to
stay at home and try to educate themselves from home.
In the morning, after I wake up, I usually join two online lessons. These lessons are
mostly quite fine. It’s better to hear teachers‘ lectures than study new topics by myself.
And also I am glad I can hear my classmates.
Beside the online lessons, I work on others tasks to school and sometimes I help my
sister with her homework.
After I am done, it‘s time to have a break. I watch films, clean my room, draw some
pictures or do other activities I like. In these hard times people need to think positively
by taking their attention away of coronavirus.
I don’t want to lose my sport shape, so I have an online training with my aerobic team.
We stretch our bodies and work out.
Then my mother comes home and whole my family goes for a walk to the forest.
In the evening we watch new downloaded films together.
Quarantine makes me happier with things I used to have before this situation
happened. Now I appreciate my friends, my freedom and feeling of safety. •
