• Enrolled in a HSG Bachelor programme. A freemover semester is considered as an exchange semester and is not a semester leave.
• Successfully completed Assessment Year, including notification of results
by the time the exchange semester starts.
• Credits already completed as well as remaining degree credits in the HSG
Bachelor degree in which the exchange semester will take place (Bachelor
thesis excluded).
• No remaining credits from a prior level of study by the time the exchange semester begins. Exception: admission condition «bookkeeping examination«, admission condition «foreign language requirements without credits«.
• Freemover exchange is possible only from the 4th semester of the ­Bachelor
level.

Exchange period

• Autumn semester 2016: Begin of exchange between 1 July and 31 December is considered as absence in autumn semester.
• Spring semester 2017: Begin of exchange between 1 January and 30 June is
considered as absence in spring semester.

Important

From the 4th Bachelor semester on, a minimum of 90 ECTS (including Assessment
Year) must be acquired at the University of St.Gallen.

Exchange – Before an exchange):
31 March for exchange in the following autumn semester

31 October for exchange in the following spring semester

• Host university: keep in mind host university‘s application deadlines.

Requirements for beginning the Freemover semester
