Students taking part in this week-long trip will be heading to Madison, Wisconsin, to partner with Next Step
Ministries, a Christ-centered organization that is passionate about giving students a mission trip experience that
results in long-term growth for both the students and the community in which they serve.
Students will stay in a local church and participate in unique outreach opportunities alongside the Next Steps staff
such as pouring into children enrolled in summer school or Nehemiah – a Christian ministry which seeks to develop
local children into Madison’s future leaders –, serving in one of the several community gardens that support food
banks, ministering to the many children who participate in the Library’s after-school snack and hangout in the park,
and many others. Students who take part in this trip will certainly not return home without having developed and
shared Christ’s heart for those in need.
Note: Full non-refundable $50 deposit is due with application.
Mandatory Team Meetings:
Trip participants must attend all meetings in their entirety.
Dinner is provided at each meeting and they’ll be in Room 208.
