"You need to seek out opportunities to learn about diversity"

In the Coleg Cambria LRC we were lucky to welcome the Jewish Living Experience display presented to us by Sara Perlmutter who works for the Board of Deputies of British Jews. The display offered an explanation of the basic terms of Judaism.
What bought you to Coleg Cambria?
"We decided to do it here because we've been to Cardiff and the Assembly Member there (Mark Isherwood) was very keen for it to come to North Wales and introduced us to Coleg Cambria. When the college said they were interested we thought "that's a perfect place to bring it" and we're very excited to be here."
"I think it's very important that people understand other people's faiths, ways of life and culture so that they can be informed and not have stereotypes and not be prejudiced about any other faith or belief system."
“The students are very interested to learn a bit more about the Jewish faith" Sara Perlmutter added "they havent had the opportunity to learn about this before now".
