HOPE YOU DON’ T CRY
I looked at the message in terror, knowing that something terrible was about to happen. Looking at the first letter of each phrase, I burst into tears. B E T H, my name, the killer had a list and planned to fulfill it. Then all of the sudden, Amelia stirred.“ Run,” she rasped,“ Run Beth, RUN!” Amelia took one last deep breath and closed her eyes. She didn’ t ever move again. Obeying her dying wish, I ran only to hear the most terrifying noise, Bang, Bang, Bang...

In a snowy mountain somewhere on the eastern side of the Loserville, a man stood, watching and listening attentively, his face serious, with his wooden slingshot clutched in his hands. But the game that kept him so keen, the game that he, Ugly von Gravel, thought was worth his time, was not an animal; it was a human enemy. His name was Gag Zamboni.
Von Gravel thought bitterly about the unconcluded lawsuit that he and Zamboni had in the earlier days of their lives, arguing over a small blue ball. Nobody was able to claim that ball, and to this day, the sour relationship between those two men remained.“ It was a huge fight,” he murmured, thinking that the fight did not end. He was going to seek revenge, right now.
Gag Zamboni was his greatest enemy. He wished ill to him; he always wanted him to fail. To Ugly von Gravel, Zamboni was the cheater, the law-breaker, the unfair, and the greedy. He seeked every chance to be an obstruction of Zamboni.
His men trailed him around at the mountain. He was quite annoyed by their presence; he thought he could easily defeat Zamboni by himself, and they were overprotective of him. He frowned, and then shouted to them,“ Go away, you followers! I can do this by myself. I know it. I am an excellent hunter, and you guys are not!”
His men scooted away, grumbling about how they were treated with contempt all the time and they would find revenge. Von Gravel ignored this and stuck out his tongue to them.
Von Gravel wandered far away, his whole body tense and ready to attack like a tiger. He hoped he would come across Zamboni, face to face, without anyone else. A private battle without a witness. He walked looking down at the cliff, planning what will he do to Zamboni if he finds him.“ CHARGEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!” Von Gravel immediately turned around and saw Zamboni, sprinting toward him. He instinctively dodged him, and Zamboni fell down to the snow- covered cliff, knocking von Gravel off his feet and sending him scrambling down the cliff with him. His chance of revenge had been ruined by the very victim.“ What are you doing, stupid?” Von Gravel barked with his mouth full of snow.“ I was trying to surprise you so you would have a heart attack!” Zamboni shouted.
