Carlos is currently pursuing a Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations in

the City of London.

In 1995, at 17, Carlos started his first business for distribution of national handicrafts in Mexico City with the trademark Artesa. In 1997, he incorporated his business under the name Distribuidora Artesa S.A. de C.V. and began trading in both Mexico and the United States.

This was his first venture into international business. At the same time, from 1999 to 2001,

he interned with the government of Mexico City in the area of social development, providing legal assistance to young people.

In 2005, he sold his company and moved to Madrid, Spain. From 2005 to 2006, he interned

at the law firm ACF Consultores, S.L. in Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain, in the area of Foreign Trade, providing legal assistance in matters of customs and international law to the international clients of the firm. From 2005 to 2011, Carlos founded a new company called Business Corporative S.L.U. in Spain, which provided consultation on international trade.

In Summer 2011, working with several small wineries in La Rioja, Carlos moved to London,

UK to begin a wine distribution project in the United Kingdom with support from the Spanish government. In May 2012, Carlos was invited to develop the Export and Distribution department as the Freight Manager at Brompton Bicycle, Ltd. in London. In May 2014, he left Brompton Bicycles to found Structured Freight with his husband, Dr. Thomas Payne, where

he currently holds the position of CEO and Director of Business Operations.

Meet Carlos,

Carlos Saiz-Perez, Mexican by birth and Spanish by descent, received a Bachelors in Law in 2001 and a Bachelors of International Business in 2005 from Anahuac University, North Campus in Huixquilucan, Mexico. At the end of his university studies, Carlos completed a Master of International Business Management in 2006 from the Business School ESDEN in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain and achieved the IATA Certificate of Air Cargo Professional in 2013. Carlos is currently pursuing a Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations in the City of London.

Meet Tom,

Dr. Thomas Murray Payne was born in Texas and found his way to London in 2013 where he met his husband, Carlos Saiz-Perez. Although his background is in science, he thought Carlos's vision for improving the freight industry was exciting and they founded Structured Revolution together. He holds the position of Managing Director and primarily serves in an advisory role.
