SMM : How do you separate yourself from other artists?
Young 5th : I seperare myself from other artist by just staying true to myself. I always here dudes rapping about the dope game and money and cars. Some times u check their background and it aint that. When people hear my music that know its real. Im broke as we speak lol. But people know that struggle. So me just keeping it real with myself is how i plan on keeping myself separated.
SMM : Who do you want to work with in the future?
Young 5th : Plies would be at the top of the list for artist i want to work with. He has a lot of music that touch people. J Cole would be next. He got a vide that no one else has. Boosie, Gotti, Jezzy and the list can keep going. Dont necessarily have to be in that order tho.
SMM: Where did you grow up?
Young 5th : I'm originally from Kingstree SC. Up the track was the name of my neighborhood. My mom moved us to south Florida when i was 11 or 12. Hollywood, pompano beach, fort Lauderdale area. So i got a ascent people never really heard but that's wat happen when u mix a country Carolina boy with that South Florida swag i guess.
SMM: We see you opened up for plies not to long ago how did that happen..
Young 5th : Me opening up for plies was through a friend of a friend. That was actually my second time opening up for him. First time was last year at Aqua night club in Jacksonville. This time around i was a little more prepared. But a friend out of Gainesville point me to a guy name David white. Reached out to him and that was history in the making. Shoots out to David for the opportunity to. But plies showed me a lot of love to. I gotta a bottle of Ace of spades to show to.
SMM: Musically, what are your biggest influences and who are your favorite musicians?

Young 5th : My biggest influence musically is life in general. Its hard for me to pretend or make up stories about something i don't know. My life story my sound a bit cliche but no lights, not know where the next meal coming from, jail. So when i start making music for my fans when they start to grow i want to paint a picture that they can see. Show them it is a way out. Just gotta go and get it. But J cole, boosie, plies jezzy. Them dudes make music i feel like just for me. Regardless wat i got going on in my life a song from anyone of them get me back focus.
