BOYZ

BLOODLINE

SMM : What rapper advice, tips or pointers would you have appreciated getting when you were getting started that you could have saved you the trouble of learning through your mistakes?

RIcO : Don't expect a nigga to fuck wit you cause you think you hot or got a hot track. You gotta get out here and make a nigga know you. Ppl really respect the grind more than most of these up and coming rappers realize. And don't be scared to spend money on yourself. One thing niggas don't respect in this game is a mahfucka that always want something for free.

SMM : Are there any videos we can look out for?

RICO : Man we shooting a video to every track on da mixtape lol stay tuned for all of em!!! Shout out to Hypervision Media

SMM : Any final words that you want to send to all the “on –the –rise” emcees that’ll be reading this interview?

Rico : Like I said man, persistency and consistency is the key to success. Don't be scared to invest in yaself. And ppl in this industry are only gonna fuck wit you as hard as you fuck with them. And my parting words gotta be, "expect nothing from someone you gave nothing to." Yooooo

SMM : So what else does Rico got in the works after this mixtape?

RICO : Right now I'm just focused on my mixtape and my mixtape only. Not really sweating putting out no new projects or nothing because I wanna put all my effort and money into maxing "Bloodline" out.

SMM : Will you be performing anytime in the near future?

RICO : We're putting together a promo tour that'll probably be starting in January sometime. Been getting a few calls for shows and shit tho. they fucking wit me heavy in Texas, V.A, and Bama so I'll definitely be sliding thru there real soon

SMM : What was Rico doing five years ago/ What are your goals five years from now ?

RICO : 5 years ago I was in Jesup, F.C.I. counting down my last months til I got out that shit!! Ain't looked back since. And in five years I'll definitely be a successful realtor. Never know with this music man but I'm focused. I feel like persistency and consistency will get you anything in this world so I'm staying on it.
