SMM: How did it feel when you heard you were named the 2016 Quintessential Model of the Week?
Timothy Richardson : I was really honored. Any title as a model is appreciated. Knowing that your body of work is being admired enough to be recognized is truly a blessing. Quintessential Men are well put together men and that's the same lifestyle I try to portray each day.
SMM : Why did you sign with the modeling agencies BMG Florida and Naturally Fit Agency?
Timothy Richardson : Honestly BMG which is my first agency was a blessing from God. I did seek representation from other agencies but nothing was actually happening. So with a few dollars in my bank account I had enough gas to make it to the meeting at the Orlando office. At the time I was visiting a friend in West Palm and just trying to get my life together. So I stepped out on faith and God caught me. Naturally Fit Agency caught my eye through learning more about modeling agencies and I really was impressed with the brand campaigns their models were getting chosen for. Brands such as Nike, Adidas and several others. So this aligned with my goals as a model because my goal is to definitely shoot for magazine and brand campaigns this year.

SMM : Any advice to give young males getting into modeling or wondering What (TFC) is about?
Well get comfortable with the world "No" because you're going to hear it a lot. Also don't be afraid to fail chasing your dreams. I wake up everyday and it is a constant grind to get my name out there but I love what I do. You are your own business and I've turned getting my name out to the public into a job.
