SMM : What’s next for BustBack?

BustBack: What's next for me is releasing my next three mixtapes “BustBack Forever the Motivation” mixtape, “War Machine”, and “The PartyGod 2: The AfterParty”. I’m shooting the movie I wrote called “The King of Duval” starring myself and T4MG Quanboy. It's a comedy and drama that will be released sometime this year so y'all be on the lookout for that. I'm also doing shows with my big homie Muddville Tweek

SMM : Where did the name BustBack come from?

BustBack: Lol the name BustBack came from my late friend Duwain Black Mobley. We were freestyling one day and he asked me what was my rap name and I said

We were freestyling one day and he asked me what was my rap name and I said I'm buss and he said he didn't like that so he changed it to BustBack and it kinda stuck with me through out my career. It means that when the world bust at me instead of picking up a gun and busting a gun I BustBack with my lyrics. It gives me motivation. I especially love when the ladies say my name.

SMM : We know you’re from Jacksonville, Fla. aka Duval, does your city support your music?

BustBack: My city supports me to the fullest. I sold mixtapes and I didn't even push it at times. I get love from all the hot DJ's in the city DJ Kool Zell, DJ Swagg, DJ 2 Faded, DJ Kool Aid,and DJ Cap. People share my videos. I get people that come up to me I don't even know that knew or heard about me and say “BustBack you did that? Boy keep on pushing”. My producers Young Swain, Mauriceondabeat, EL and Mike Crews are constantly keeping me working all I need is one big hit and I'm gonna put my city on the map as the power house we are.
