SMM : Who are your favorite artists and how have they impacted your life And music?

BustBack: My favorite artists are Tupac, Biggie, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Michael Jackson, and Bone Thugs n Harmony. I like Tupac because of his realness and passion, Biggie, for his flow, Eminem for his lyricism, Michael Jackson, for his showmanship, and Bone, for their speed. I feel like I’m a combination of them all when I step into the booth. They all inspired me to be the best I can be in music and in life.

SMM : What do you think you can contribute to the rap game?

BustBack: I think I can contribute realism, style, class, and the freedom of speech to hip hop. I want people to know that you can’t be afraid to speak their minds about anything. I want to be remembered as a artist who wasn't afraid of nothing. A lot of artists today only talk about material things which is fine, but I feel like we need to also talk about the things that are going on right now in the world and educate people on how to handle certain situations. I bring to the table consciousness but also at times be a lil flashy too. lol.

SMM : Which artists and producers in the game would you like to work with?

BustBack: I would love to work with Lil Wayne, Nas, Young Jeezy, and Jay Z. But my dream collaboration would be with Eminem, because I think he would challenge me as an MC. His lyricism is mind boggling to me and it would be a hot record. I also would love to work with my favorite artist out today which is Plies because we would have the club on fire! Producers I wanna work with Mike Will Made It, and The Dream, but if I get on a Dr. Dre beat then that means I made it. He is the standard for artists and everyone who has worked with him has went on to platinum status.

SMM : We know you won the Silver Star seven times, but how did you get involved with it?

BustBack: The Royal Terrace men's club talent show, was put on by Mr. Tampa, the owner of the Silver Star and DJ Isiah, Kool Zell Brown to give us local artists a chance to showcase our talents, as well as win money. I won five weeks straight then I lost five weeks straight and was thinking about quitting but after talking with my mom she told me to keep pushing so I came back and won two more times before they shut it down. Competing in the talent show taught me about patience, perseverance, and how to build self esteem. I won $400 total in winnings and that bought a lot of clothes. I also completed against some of the hottest rappers in the city and we had wars in there but it was all in fun though.
