My goal is to create positive music that people can enjoy and relate to. I especially want to empower and be a positive influence to ladies and promote class, self-respect, and the strength to overcome the challenges we face. Music has always been in me and now it is time to release it to the world”

Florida R&B / Pop artist, Mayngo, was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and raised in the city of Jacksonville, FL. Singer, multi-genre songwriter, and actress is beginning to make her mark in her hometown stomping grounds. She is sure to shine with her beautiful voice and angelic-like ad libitums along with her sweet and charming personality.

Mayngo’s impressive list of musical influences include: Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Mya, Katy Perry, Rhianna, Jazmine Sullivan, Keyshia Cole, Britney Spears, Madonna, Al Greene, and Janet Jackson.

Currently releasing her first official pop single “Celebrate” that will be available on iTunes 8/2015, Mayngo is ready to go full sail bursting through speakers and building her brand. Her r&b single “Shattered Heart” is now in rotation with Pcity Radio on K100 Radio in Atlanta, GA. She has also done radio interviews, magazine interviews, and is in the process of negotiating with sponsors on a joint venture to build/expand their brand.

At about the young age of 9, Mayngo knew she had a special voice and every now and then she would start coming up with these melodies out of nowhere. She thought it was cool because she didn’t know anyone at school or home that did that. Throughout her life, her failures and fears actually ended up being her biggest motivation. The fact that she did not want those challenges to cause her to sleep on her dreams kept her going. Mayngo is also an actress who studied drama at the age of 12 years old and was cast in the Warner Brothers television series “Safe Harbor”. Later in life, she landed the role of leading female actress in Homeboys Film. She has also made appearances and was the leading lady in several music videos. Mayngo’s primary focus is her music, but she hopes that a successful music career will eventually open doors back into the acting world.

“I have not always been confident in myself when it comes to music. I never doubted myself or what I can do, I just had to build the confidence to bring out what is in me and show the world” Mayngo says in her February 2015 interview with Street Music Magazine.

With her first official pop single “Celebrate” releasing on iTunes, Mayngo is ready to bring positive energy and vibrant performances to the music scene. She is excited about the road that is ahead for her and is ready to take on any challenges she may face that will lead to domino effects of success.

“I wanna be at the awards just like the superstars. I wanna have expensive cars; Paparazzi, fame, glamour, I want it all. Dreams come true if you work hard; you say you want to be a superstar? Then go for it”.

Mayngo says in her very positive and encouraging single “Dreams Come True”.
