and as soon as he arrived home from work he would pick the guitar up and we would sit and sing and learn songs together. My dad was definitely the reason I have such a large passion for singing and performing. I only discovered how big this passion was when I wrote my first ever song.It was called “Cheer Up” I wrote it to myself because at the time I was suffering through the unfortunate wrath of bullies in school and I still sing it to this day as it still has plenty of meaning to me each and every single day.
I grew up around various genres artists and people so my knowledge on music was very extensive from a very young age.
I can’t really say who my favourite artist or band is as I just love way too many but there are certain artists I cover that I enjoy most they include: Christina Aguilera, Evanescence, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney and many others. My love of music came from being constantly surrounded by instruments and music and being a dancer I used to perform musical numbers so musical theatre became an obsession of mine.
The passion and Love I have for singing music and performing in any way shape or form is the way you feel like another person standing on that stage or wherever you may be performing. To me my mind lets go of all negatives and my body takes over and my emotions pour out with the lyrics or I completely go into character of the song and become what the song is written about or written for. I love this feeling as it is true that for those few minutes it may be you are performing there isn’t another worry or doubt in your mind it’s all about the sound the feel and the emotion of the time. The reason I love music is because it can and will match with any emotion you are feeling and you can select it if your down listen to some blues to match your feelings or listen to some pop to change the way you feel, music is magic in the way in can completely lift change or match your mood and emotions that’s why I love it.
