Bob began to know the candidates and got to know the different people in power. He began getting invitations to social events. He met new people that believed in the same values as him. He slowly became well known in the party and people saw his potential and that he’s a people’s person. He was a successful backbencher for 11 years. He made a lot of improvements that were well done. People noticed and saw he could be a good leader. As he got older people saw him maturing more and saw more of his potential. When he was around his mid 40’s he began running for elections. He was charming and smart and had the ability to win people over. It wasn’t easy though he didn’t win the first few times. When a good year came along he got many votes and won! He had a great speech. He showed people that he truly cares about this country.
