National Legacy Partners Street Soccer FC First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond kicks off Street Soccer Scotland as National Legacy Partner for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games with £300,000 invested into positive change through football. The occasion was announced at the Aberdeen Sports Village at the Friday Street Soccer Scotland Drop In session. Is our new initiative designed to involve players from our programmes in giving back to their communities through delivering Street Soccer sessions supported by the STV Appeal. The concept is that the Street Soccer For Change programme will give young people and their communities an opportunity to come together through the power of football. We will be looking for Street Soccer programme participants who are interested in coaching and who show an aptitude for working with others to be trained to deliver sessions for young people in various areas around Scotland. Challenge Series Throughout 2013 we delivered 8 separate Scotch Beef Challenge Series events across Scotland and was a huge success! If you feel you are interested and have the commitment to become a Street Soccer FC coach please register your interest with [email protected].
