Rehab Without Walls Neuro Solutions in Downers Grove collaborate with the PTA students from the College of DuPage and raise funds for CPR certifications . Every year they donate all of the money to a charity . This year they chose West Suburban Humane Society and donated $ 610 .
The student council at Whittier School in Downers Grove did a fundraiser and collected food , paper towels , litter , and toys for our adoption center .
The student council at Plainfield East High School made blankets through Comfort for Critters and donated them to the adoption center .
Ms . Kanrath ’ s Class at Reskin Elementary in Glendale Heights packaged treats for the dogs and collected donations .
The Erickson Family of Downers Grove donated $ 500 in honor of Granite Innovation . Granite Innovation extended kindness to the family during their recent home renovations and they wanted to pay it forward .
Aiden and Ashley Erickson of Downers Grove sold hot cocoa and donated the proceeds to the animals at the adoption center .
Thunder is adjusting very well and getting more comfortable by the day ! Sometimes he gets the zoomies and he sprints down the hallway and around our dining room table , and man can he cut a corner ! I take him to my parents house and he ’ s getting along pretty well with the 4 senior dogs living there as well ! Jeff and I are very happy with Thunder and we love him so much !

The students at Midwestern University work with organizations in their communities that give to humans and fur babies also ! They donated a “ pallet of love ,” including 3 leashes , 3 collars , 9 bags of dog food , 5 bags of cat food , 5 cases of canned cat food , 3 cases of canned dog food , and 3 bags of litter .
JLL Corporation had a dog themed holiday display in their lobby . Their tenants were able to “ adopt ” one of the stuffed dogs for a donation to the adoption center . JLL donated $ 618 .
The 5th grade class at Pierce Downer School had a holiday auction and donated $ 150 to the adoption center .

Ozzy is doing amazing at our home ! He was a bit hesitant for the first 15 minutes or so then wanted to start playing with our other dog Phoebe ! Trying to keep him in slow mode while he is recovering from his surgery is proving to be a challenge ! He is a people dog for sure , he loves to be around people myself , Scott , the kids loves to sit right by us !

Hi everyone ! It ’ s me , Nashville ! Sorry I haven ’ t written sooner , but I ’ ve been busy packing my dinner dishes and making sure my litter box is in just the right place and organizing my toys and my new home ! My mom feeds the birds so my brother Leonard and I get to watch the birds and squirrels while sitting in front of a big patio door ! And get this – my house has Butt warmers ! They ’ re nice metal grates on the floor that you can lay on and it blows hot air on you ! And they ’ re in all the rooms ! A very Merry Kittymas to everyone at WSHS !
