Blaze
Male | 1 year old | Boxer Mix
I’m Blaze, an adventurous guy with a lot of energy and I love to play! Sometimes I jump up, so
please don’t mind if I accidentally knock you over and then give you kisses, I’ll make a great
playmate! Unfortunately, I think cats are snacks and will try to eat them! I love to play with
other dogs and would really like it if you had another dog at home. Despite my high energy,
I’ll never turn down a nap with you. I love to explore and I’ll try to scale and jump fences. Due
to this, I should always be kept on a leash or a zip line in a yard. I’m easily trained and eager to
please, so I would make a really good agility dog! I can get upset and sad when you leave and
I can experience some anxiety. My foster family said they will donate a crate that I like for me
to stay in when you’re gone! I’m looking forward to my new family and adventures with them!
Jessie Jane
Female | 3 years old | Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Hi, I’m Jessie Jane! As a high energy girl, I’m looking for a family that loves to be outside. I’m
up for anything such as running, hiking and swimming. I adore long walks and playing fetch.
I’m super smart and learn very quickly. I’m learning to sit, stay, heel and leave it. When you call
me to come, I get so excited that I might jump on you! When it’s time to come inside I think
I’m a lap dog. I just want to be close to you, getting all the attention possible. I love kids but
until I learn not to be so eager when I see someone, any kids with me should be at least 8
years old. I’m potty trained so I can stay in the crate when you leave for work but I’m good in
the house for a few hours if I have a window to look out of. I’m dog selective which means I
pick who I like to socialize with and I should be the only dog in the house. Cats are too much
like squirrels so no cats for me.
Mariposa
Female | 5 years old | Tri Color Tabby
Mariposa is very independent and loves to bask in the sun or curl up in her bed. She’s
struggled with allergies and has been examined by a Vet. Over all, she’s healthy but gets
itchy due to allergies. She’s on a prescription diet and daily medication that has helped her.
Luckily, she’s very comfortable taking her daily pill. Due to her history of allergies and her
independent attitude, we require an experienced cat owner in an adult-only home. She
would prefer to live on her own but could live with another independent cat. She tolerates
dogs and ignores them and would do fine living with a dog that ignores her too. Due to her
age and weight she cannot be declawed. Mariposa has been at the shelter longer than most
cats and we would love to see her get her forever home.
Teddi
Female | 9 years old | Black and White DLH
Teddi is a sweet and quiet cat who loves to sit and look out the window. She has a beautiful
long black coat with white whiskers and will need to be brushed regularly. We are working on
her getting used to it and she seems to enjoy it but lets you know when she has had enough.
Teddi is independent and would do well living with another quiet cat or on her own. If she
lives with a dog the dog should be used to cats and relatively calm around them. She’s older
and had a senior wellness exam, blood work and a dental cleaning. She’s very healthy and
ready for her forever home. She doesn’t necessarily like being picked up and carried around
so kids should be 6-years or older. Teddi shouldn’t be declawed due to her age.
