One of the greatest joys in life is “discovery”.
Whether it is finding a new restaurant or taking a new bike trail, a critical component is the
thrill of exploration and the discovery of something new.
But what about the joy of “rediscovery”?
Revisiting a great book, going to an old hangout, or seeing an old friend can provide countless
unanticipated pleasures.
In assembling this issue of STRATTON Magazine, I found myself genuinely excited.
After being cooped-up for months, it was exhilarating to rediscover the businesses that are
the foundation of our community and to be reminded of the people and places that make
Southern Vermont so special.
